A First-Timer’s Guide to KitKatClub (Without Looking Like One)

You're in Berlin and planning to go to KitKatClub — Berlin’s most infamous playground — and you don’t want to look like a tourist. Good instinct. This isn’t supposed to be a costume party. It’s not your place to gawk. It is your chance to dive into a space of sensual freedom and unapologetic hedonism.

Here’s how to get in, what to wear, and how not to not blow your shot at Berlin’s most legendary night.
1. KitKat Is a Sex Club, not a swingers' party
KitKat is not a brothel, not a swingers’ party, and definitely not a frat-boy fantasy land. It’s a space built around techno, kink, freedom, and trust. Some people dance all night in latex and never touch a soul. Others slip into a dark corner for a private scene. Your vibe, your choice — as long as it's consensual (duh) and respectful.
2. White Sneakers = Automatic Rejection
Nothing screams “I just read about this on Reddit” like rolling up to the door in white Nikes. KitKat has a strict no-white-sneakers policy — and in general, sneakers kill your chances unless they’re part of a deliberate, kinky outfit (but probably not even).
Instead, go for:
Black boots, platform shoes, or bare feet (yes, seriously — bring a bag)
Fetishwear, mesh, leather, latex, or absolutely nothing
Club-kid, rave-trash, or lingerie. Minimalist is fine. Basic is not.

3. The Door Isn’t Random — It’s Curated Vibe Control
The bouncers aren’t judging your beauty. They’re scanning for energy, intent, and outfit. If you’re loud, laughing nervously, or obviously drunk, you’re out. If you show up in jeans and a Zara blouse...
Tips:
Come in pairs or small groups — mixed-gender is safest on the normal Saturday nights.
Know the theme night — check their official website or Instagram
Don’t film or take photos. Seriously. You’ll get kicked out instantly. Leave the phone in the wardrobe.
4. What Actually Happens Inside
Once you’re in, the vibe ranges from Berlin dance floor mayhem to softcore kink cabaret. There's a pool, sauna, dark rooms, cuddle corners, and a lot of glitter.
Expect:
Electronic music across multiple floors
Nudity and BDSM performances (but only in certain areas)
Friendly staff and an unspoken culture of consent
Not expected:
Judgment, pressure, or performance. KitKat is surprisingly chill once you’re inside.

5. Consent Culture: Watch, Ask, Respect
Just because someone’s in a harness doesn’t mean they’re down to play. Consent is everything. Watch quietly, don’t interrupt scenes, and ask before you touch — always.
Don’t:
Follow people around
Try to “join in” without explicit invitation
Treat anyone like entertainment
Do:
Compliment respectfully
Use body language and eye contact
Accept “no” without sulking
6. What to Bring (And What to Leave at Home)
Bring:
A change of clothes (if you're shy walking home in a thong)
Condoms, lube, wipes, possibly toys or other equipment to play with, and a curious but grounded attitude
Don’t bring:
Cameras
Expectations
Entitlement
Come Correct or Don’t Come at All
If you’re going to KitKatClub, show up with respect for the space, the bodies inside it, and the culture that built it. You don’t have to be hardcore, but you do have to be open — and prepared to leave your ego (and your white shoes) at the door.
It’s not about fitting in. It’s about letting go.
