Power Dance Club (PDC) has grown from an Athens experiment into one of the most euphoric queer raves straddling Berlin and beyond. Helmed by DJs Luigi Di Venere and Stathis Tsitinis, PDC isn’t just a party—it’s a world: sweaty, sexy, and hedonistic. What started as a space for empowerment in the Athenian scene has evolved into a traveling energy, carried by the duo’s back-to-back sets and their instinct for creating community on the dancefloor.

In this Q&A, Luigi Di Venere and Stathis Tsitinis open up about the roots of PDC, the chaos of Berlin queues, their friendship, and why “sweet sweat” might just be the best way to bottle their sound.
Q&A
If you’d capture the vibe of PDC in five words, what would they be?
GENUINE, FUN, SEXY, EUPHORIC, EMPOWERING
PDC is described as hedonistic and all-inclusive—how do you translate those values into an actual night?
Everyone is welcome to the party as long as they bring their best self. This creates a safe environment for people to enjoy themselves and the company of others.
“Everyone is welcome—as long as they bring their best self.”
What makes PDC different from other queer raves or party series out there?
We’ve been clubbers first and DJs and promoters after. We’ve lived in different European cities and we’ve always strived to bring the party energy that we experienced through the years and that put us together.

How did PDC first come to life—what was the seed that started it all?
We wanted to create an outlet for the Athenian scene. A place where people would feel empowered.
Was there a defining party or moment when you realized, “Okay, PDC has become its own culture now”?
The first nudge was one edition at OHM in Berlin where the queue was so long. We didn’t know how to deal with it! Lol.
But the edition of January 31st 2025 at KREUZWERK was when we thought the party had its own life that’s also beyond us.
“The edition of January 31st 2025 at KREUZWERK was when we thought the party had its own life beyond us.”
How do you curate your DJ lineups—what qualities make someone feel like a ‘PDC’ artist?
We book people whose music and energy we appreciate. We try to balance between more experienced artists and emerging ones. We are lucky to have many great DJ friends!

Do you see PDC more as a music-driven rave, an art/performance hybrid, or something beyond those categories?
As a music-driven party definitely. But we like to experiment with live shows sometimes.
What’s next: more cities, more collaborations, or something completely unexpected?
All the above together.
If PDC was a drink, what would it taste like?
Sweet sweat!
“If PDC was a drink? Sweet sweat.”
What’s the dynamic between you two during a set—are you perfectly in sync, or do you thrive on contrast?
We work in harmony and respect for each other.
Is there a particular track or moment that always feels like “pure PDC” when you drop it together?
For each season we have different hits but there are specific moments that feel like pure PDC. It’s when we see hands in the air, people fucking at the corner of the DJ booth… pure ecstasy and bliss.
“Hands in the air, people fucking at the corner of the DJ booth… pure ecstasy and bliss.”
What’s your shared process for building a Power Dance Club set? Do you plan tracklists together, or is it more spontaneous?
We plan our tracks together. We are always excited to meet, share our more recent tunes and tell a new story.

How do you maintain that PDC signature energy in places where the crowd might not know the story?
We tell our story in that moment, they’ll eventually (lol) get into it.
What’s a track that you both agree always brings out that wild, hedonistic PDC moment, no matter where you play it?
Sueno Latino Present Valeria Vix - Viciosa (In-Progress Mix).
It is dirty, sexy, proper, and witty.
What’s something about being Luigi + Stathis as a duo—something people don’t know—that informs how you DJ together or run PDC?
We are very good friends, we are always in touch. People might not know that we’re constantly bouncing ideas off each other outside the club. Whether it’s music, design, or how to shape PDC, that constant exchange sharpens our instincts when we’re on the decks together.
What was your earliest memory of dance music? Is there a track or DJ set from your childhood that made you think: “This is what I want to do”?
The iconic vampire club scene in Blade!
